VASAD FARM - ELECON

Situated on the banks of the Narmada River near Vasad, this 6,600 sq.mt. farmhouse landscape was reimagined to create a fresh identity through a thoughtful, layered design approach. The site was divided into two key zones: the visual front along the approach road, elevated 15 feet above ground, and a garden gathering space adjacent to a glass gazebo across the road.

The visual front was transformed into a series of stepped terraces planted with distinct lawn species like Paspalum to stabilize the slopes formed at a natural 30-degree angle of repose. These terraces lead visitors up to the porch, creating a dramatic ascent through four levels.

A floating lily water feature—reinterpreted as large brass sculptures inspired by water lilies—welcomes guests at the porch. These brass “lily pads,” ranging from 2 to 2.5 feet in diameter, are carefully positioned to control water flow, producing a soothing cascade and enhancing the sensory experience.

Scattered monoliths and diverse planting typologies across the terraces complete the landscape, blending visual drama with natural tranquility.
