RADIATING GEOMETRY : Mr. Bimal Patel

Set on a 50,000 sq.ft. plot in the quiet town of Anand, this contemporary exposed masonry residence called for a landscape that would seamlessly blend with its bold architectural language. An organic design vocabulary was adopted, with sculpted mounds and tall palms filtering views of the brick façade, while a Kota stone driveway leads to a patterned foyer that creates a thoughtful pause before entry.

At the rear, a swimming pool is connected to the gazebo and barbecue area through a scattered flooring layout that sets a relaxed, informal tone. A meandering walking track loops around the periphery, weaving through trees and shrubs that ensure privacy and soften the built edges.

Artworks and sculptures, including pieces by a renowned Vadodara-based artist and car-inspired installations by the client, add personal and artistic depth to the garden. A flock of custom brass bird sculptures, depicted in various stages of flight and rest, animate the space—bringing movement, whimsy, and visual delight to the landscape.
